Designed by Aerospace engineers and manufactured in the United States, the Competition series goals are used by schools, clubs, and regions seeking a less expensive 4" round goal.
The Competition series is made of aerospace-grade, powder-coated white aluminum which offers superior strength and is lightweight. Unlike other goals, the corner joints are made from aerospace-grade aluminum castings, instead of welded tubes, for added strength. The backstays, which create depth, are powder-coated white aluminum instead of steel. The crossbar is securely attached to the uprights using two bolts on each end. For additional stability and safety each goal comes with a galvanized steel ground back bar.
The Competition goal uses StayNet Fasteners which secure the net into drilled holes on the uprights and crossbar.
This is a great goal but consider upgrading to the Channel series, which has additional features for a nominal increase in price.
